Are there support groups for people like me?

Have you ever heard of Craftster.org?....it is really the most amazing place...I spend most of my days there dreaming of all the wonderful things I could create...and to make that addiction worse, I have just started participating in the "swaps" they have there....get your mind out of the gutter!...it's not what you think...a swap usually has a theme...like...movies or music....favorite actors or places...the possibilities are infinite...you are paired up with one other craftster member and you both craft stuff and then send the crafted wear to each other...it's like Christmas all the time...well, I joined one, my first one...A dollar store swap...this means that you have a spending limit (ours was between 5-10 dollars) and you buy crap...from the "crap" you buy at the dollar store (where nothing is over a dollar) you craft new and exiting items...you could use stuff from your stash to help "enhance" your items, and you could "buy items" as fillers once you made your required amount of 3 items...I thought this would be a breeze, BUT when you have terribly disappointing dollar stores, it makes it quite difficult....but I persevered and was able to come up with some nifty items for my partner...she is a big Disney fan so this is what I came up with...(she likes to have cocktails too)
A Disney purse made from two fleece scarves...the Mickey's were hand sewn on...I SUCK at hand sewing....the handles were just stripes of the scarves braided together....fronts and back of the purse...

The next thing was inspired by my hubby...I just figured out how to put it all together....

A Little Mermaid DVD/CD holder...it holds a total of 48 disks...it's made from two place-mats, two fleece baby blankets, a shower curtain, and some office rings...

The last thing I sent was a sign I found that read "Wine Makes Everyone Hopeful" and I crocheted a wine bottle cozy to go with it....with a tuxedo theme....I used buttons from the dollar store and yarn from my stash....

Here's the items she sent me...she knew that I was a big Horror fan...

She decoupaged a picture frame with what looks like mini-horror movie posters....COOLNESS!

Here's the front and back of the frame:

She also (knowing I'm a magnet hound) made me a bunch of glass magnets....there's even a Johnny Cash one from my favorite poster of him, and one of my favorite, huggable zombie, Bub!

...and last but not least...she made me some slippers to keep my feet warm....she added some Air Force buttons cuz my hubby is Air Force....how cool is that?...

This is why I'm addicted to swappping!
